Fast service and large hot portions. Loved it. Can’t wait to come back. Clean dining area. Brightly light. Nothing to look at from the outside but they did a ice job on the interior.
Had the steak burrito and pork tacos. Wonderful spice applications on the meats, genuine authentic Mexican food, will definitely go back! (Well I have gone back and must amend my statement more than once the proteins were not trimmed down properly enough and inedible chewy portions end up in overall product, take more time during prep work and cut out gristle and marbled fat.) sorry but will head to el primo from now on.
Service was prompt and friendly, however that was the only redeeming quality of this place. My wife ordered a chicken taco and a plate of nachos. The waitress asked her if she wanted cilantro and onions on the taco, which my wife declined. The taco came out with nothing but chicken and tortilla. You'd think that they would mention that if there was no onions or cilantro, then it's just the meat. The nachos were cold, and the chicken was greasy and pan fried. The food was horrible. Easily the worst I've ever had. I ordered a Pastor (marinated pork) burrito. They brought out a chicken burrito instead. We spent about $25 (including a $2 tip, which we put on the bill when we ordered). Stay away people! Don't let the other reviews fool you, this place is the worst.
Coming from the South this place is one of two restaurants here in Madison that delivers the best Mexican food and it's fairly priced, friendly service and nice and clean atmosphere, I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great meal that's sure to please!
Simple but fantastic food, and the prices are good. Very friendly staff, and easy in and out for to-go orders. Everything seems fresh too, really liking it!
