Walked in needing help with bike chain repair for a unique project for work. Guys gave me bunch of reasons not to be bothered to show me what I was looking for. They probably had a good point about chain sizes but they made no real attempt to come to any decent reasonable resolution to my problem. I walked out not buying what I came for and wasted my time. Do not bother with this place.
I've done business at this shop for years. I bought two bicycles there this summer. It is a small shop and the staff is generally busy, but happy to help people who are ready to purchase something. The owner is chatty and personable.
Great place to get bikes, Tune ups and love the skate rentals cause with growing feet we can jump up a skate size during the hockey season!
I bought a bike there and the service I received was fantastic. Prices were great. The best part was, the bike is fantastic. The price was reasonable . Honestly, the decision I made was going in to check out prices and what they had. Other places were ridiculous on price. the bike I got was a smooth ride, easy to change gears and runs great. It's the best bike I've ever had. Since then we've taken bikes in to get tune ups. The bikes are better than new when I pick them up.
If you go here to purchase a bicycle, be prepared to be treated like you are on a used car lot. The owner will try and talk you into a bicycle that does not fit your needs if he sees a potential sale. Riding a bike that doesn't fit or is not comfortable can be very dangerous. If it doesn't feel right, stick to your guns, and don't let the sales tactics work on you.
